Who we are
BrilSheet is a product of Briltek Cloud. We build Google Sheets products and the free BrilSheet plugin for Claude. You can reach us at support@brilsheet.com.
Information we collect
- Your name and email address when you buy a product or contact us.
- Payment details, which are collected and processed by our payment provider, not by us.
- Basic order records such as the product, version, amount and purchase date.
How we use your information
- To deliver the product you purchased and email your access link.
- To provide support and answer your questions.
- To send important updates about the version you own.
Your Google data
Automated Sheets run inside your own Google Sheet and connect to the accounts you authorise. Your platform data flows directly into your spreadsheet. We do not store or resell it.
The BrilSheet plugin for Claude
The BrilSheet plugin connects Claude to the Google Apps Script projects attached to your Google Sheets. It is free.
What we access
When you sign in with Google, you allow BrilSheet to:
- Apps Script projects — read and update the script bound to the spreadsheet you are working in, and save or restore its versions in your own Apps Script Project history.
- BrilSheet's own app data folder in your Google Drive — read and update one private file,
brilsheet.json, listing which script belongs to which spreadsheet, whether the welcome was shown and whether you added or skipped the BrilSheet tab. BrilSheet cannot see your other Drive files.
BrilSheet does not open, read or write your spreadsheets. Claude itself creates and reads the optional BrilSheet tab in the Google Sheets sidebar.
How we use it
Only to do what you ask Claude to do: fetch your script's code, save Claude's updated code, restore an earlier version, and remember the script address and your welcome and tab choices in the private app data file. You paste the Apps Script address once per sheet.
What we store
We do not store copies of your code, spreadsheet contents or Google sign-in tokens on our servers. Script code is processed in memory only while a request runs; BrilSheet does not access spreadsheet contents.
Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, keeps basic technical logs (time, request type and IP address) for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
Before each change, a copy of your code is saved as a version inside your own script (Extensions > Apps Script > Project history), where you can view or delete it. The privatebrilsheet.json file stays in BrilSheet's own app data folder in your Google Drive. Any optional BrilSheet tab created by Claude stays in your spreadsheet until you remove it.
Claude
What you and Claude discuss, including any code Claude reads, is handled by Anthropic under its own privacy policy.
Sharing
We do not sell or share Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Removing access
Remove the BrilSheet plugin in Claude (Customize > Plugins) and remove BrilSheet's access at myaccount.google.com/connections. Questions: support@brilsheet.com.
Sharing with our service providers
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate — payment processing, email delivery and hosting — and only as far as required.
How we protect your data
Here is what we do to keep your data safe.
Encryption in transit
Every connection to brilsheet.com, connect.brilsheet.com and our payment providers uses HTTPS (TLS), so data is encrypted while it travels between your device and our services.
Only what you approve
BrilSheet for Claude uses two Google permissions:
- Apps Script projects — to read and update the script bound to the spreadsheet you are working in, and save or restore its versions in your own Apps Script Project history.
- Its own app data folder in your Google Drive — one private file,
brilsheet.json, listing which script belongs to which spreadsheet, whether the welcome was shown and whether you added or skipped the BrilSheet tab. It cannot see your other Drive files.
BrilSheet does not open, read or write your spreadsheets. Claude itself creates and reads the optional BrilSheet tab in the Google Sheets sidebar.
Nothing stored on our servers
BrilSheet processes script data in memory to complete your request, and it does not store your spreadsheet data, script code or Google sign-in tokens on our servers.
Backups stay in your Google account
Backups before each change are saved as versions in your own Apps Script Project history, inside your Google account.
Google user data and Limited Use
BrilSheet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
Website data
Account, form and order records are stored with our hosting provider and encrypted at rest. Database access rules mean each person can read only their own records.
Admin access is limited to the BrilSheet team and protected with two-factor sign-in.
Payments
Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, and by Paystack. We never see or store full card details.
Your control: remove access and deletion
You can remove BrilSheet's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections, and ask us to delete your website data by emailing support@brilsheet.com.
Security incidents
If a breach affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.
Retention and your rights
We keep order records for as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time by emailing support@brilsheet.com.
Questions? Email support@brilsheet.com. We'll change the date at the top when this policy changes.
